Death threat...?

A couple of questions.
In SC, how should I handle a threat on my life?
I saw a previous question answered, however, I received the threat via a cell phone conversation. Two witnesses.
The guy is my fiance's ex boyfriend/lover.
I was out of town last night when he called, and he actually went to our home and physically assaulted her after the conversation. She is afraid and quite frankly I am afraid also. I had a confrontation with this individual last week, it turned violent and he now knows that he isn't able to physically overpower me.

Can the phone service provider do anything?

I am trying to determine a method of anonymously filing a complaint on her behalf. She is so afraid that she refuses to press charges.

Even though he is her ex boyfriend, the assault is domestic violence. You cannot file a report on her behalf, but you can do the following things:
You can get a restraining order preventing him from coming within a certain distance of your home.
You can also file a report of terrorist threats, if he threatened to kill you, especially if he has assaulted you in the past (whether he won or not).
It doesn't matter if it was on a cell phone or a regular phone, the report is still viable, and yes it can be traced.
Because most cell phone users are charged for air time minutes, records of incoming calls and the time are kept in the same manner as outgoing calls.
You need to know that people like this will not stop until they either get help, or end up in jail. Don't let him end up in jail because he killed or seriously injured your fiance or yourself. Start reporting everything he does to the Police.

if he assaulted her take pics of the evidence and call the police there will be at the least a restraining order placed on him. if he violates that the charges escalate and all he has to do is come within a certain amount of distance to u or her. the way he sounds he will do that. so just make sure that the police no the whole thing. also with two witnesses that shouldnt be a problem especially if they heard what he said and can say the same story he might already have multiple counts against him. hope that helps.

You know its a shame that we have to get the cops invalid when a good @ss kicking would solve the problem.
