What would you do if you were in HIllary's position? And for what reasons? |
I am serious about this question. To another question, someone answered that if Hillary were vice president she would do something horrible to Obama. I am appalled by statements like that. As a person who has given plenty of public service, including supporting causes including integration and civil rights, I know how hard a person has to work and how many sacrifices they make in order to try to make a difference. And I also know how unappreciated so many people are for the efforts they make on behalf of others. I would take a lesson from Mitt Romney and drop out before it divides the party completely. Mitt Romney is a smart man. I would try to be smart, like him. no, dropping out of this campaign would not be an option..she has fought the good fight..so far she has undone the Obama camp and made him look silly..but Truth be told, I would have drop out of the race. If I were in Hillary's position, I would divorce Bill Clinton on a less serious note,,,because i cant get my head around american politics,,,,,namely if the senate is republican why is the president a democrat,,,or vice versa,,, Hillary will be the best VP for obama. If she is offered the post of VP she should accept .While obama remains an unknown person for most part of the world and Hillary is known all over the world(especially in Asia) that will the best for USA. IMHO, it makes no sense to quit. I would concede, congratulate Obama, and try to convince him to make me his VP choice. I would work my tail off to advance my campaign platforms while serving for him in office and make a run in 2016. Drop out from the race.It will be an honourable way to exit. Stick it out to the very end! Why?Because she is the best candidate!! I would drop out of the race . she is a disgrace. she would say anything to win . what does that say about her? I would stay in the race and hope revelations about Obama will cause super delegates to switch over to me. I also believe by staying in she could get the party to force Obama to take her as the VP candidate as it isn't solely up to Obama to decide if he wins the presidential ticket spot. I would also stay in in case something happens to Obama. Since I don't believe that being VP "isn't worth a bucket of spit", I would very much still want to become VP. Also, Hillary knows that Obama will lose against McCain without her on the ticket to make it doubley historic. Since Hillary does not want to see McCain be president, she must figure out a way to force herself onto the ballot because Obama's wife will not allow him to select her. Her only source of power in this matter are her delegates. I understand that this is the fight of her life but...there is too much at stake for her own ambitions to go overboard. Obama and Clinton are very similar on where they stand on the issues. |
