Installing free wi-fi for a business??????

I work for a small company in the lake district and I want to get them sorted with free wi-fi for the customers. I don't really know where to start with it. If anyone can tell me what i need to do to get started it would be great. They already have wireless broadband in the office, but i assume that cannot be used as free wi-fi for customers because of bandwidth and range etc... Do i sign up with a service provider or are there special companies who install wi-fi etc... and any recommendations you may have regarding certain companies etc.....thanks to anyone who answers. There are companies who will do it for you, but the wiring is the hardest part. How big is the area you want to cover?

Basically, plan on one or more wireless Access Points (not necessarily routers) installed to cover the desired area. They would be wired back to a router separate from the current company router . Implement a wireless network named after your company and no password. Do you expect many users?
You may have to buy faster network access if you have a lot of people sharing it.

They will need to subscribe to a high bandwidth business broadband package with public use approved in its' terms and conditions. Otherwise they will risk serious fines and prison sentences for theft of service from the ISP. If they use the same connection for their company and the public section, they will save running multiple connections, it will be expensive enough for the new one.
