How many mexicans do you know?

I ask because in many answers here there seems to be great animosity towards Mexicans and illegal immigrants. I've worked in the service industry for many years, part of my family is farmers and I am a Texan so I have been exposed to many different Mexicans. I'd say most of them are NOT welfare smoochers they are hardworking and trying to provide for there families. Our country would collapse without Mexicans. So enough with the mexican bashing if you don't know any mexicans.

Many illegal immigrants are not even Mexican. They are from all over the world. You're right about our economic dependence on illegal immigrants. If it wasn't for them, you and I would be paying $5.00 for a head of lettuce instead of $2.00.

I had nothing against Mexicans and I don't post racist posts about Mexicans or any other races. But I agree with you people need to stop posting racist posts about Mexicans or any other races since that is racist and the racism gonna stop. But anyways to answer your question I know Mexicans at my school, I befriend Mexicans, and I have a Mexican Uncle by marriage. So I know Mexicans and Mexicans are cool with me.

I'm Mexican, serving my 4th voluntary tour in Iraq,(U.S. Army SFC, 27Yrs old) ---not counting Afghanistan. You're right about the numerous people bashing on Mexicans calling us Smoochers, lazy and other names but it's great to be their boss,order them around and let them know how not all of us came to the U.S. to mooch, be lazy or take their jobs nor joined the Service for a free ride like they did..... oh the icing on that cake, My grandparents came to the U.S. illegally.

I have Mexican(2) maids. I like them! people, are just ignorant especially when they use jokes about them! Like this one girl a few years ago on the other volleyball team said "Stop clapping like a Mexican" to someone on our team (it was gym class not a real game) it pissed me off so I told her where to shove it.

i know 5, 4 out of the 5 are my friends

and their cool people but the ones i know have kinda heavy accents though

Our country would do nothing of the sort, that is just a theory they like to hang on to. I know many legal mexicans and yep they are hard working etc. I don't know any illegals or I would call ICE on them. Im sure there are good ones but the cost to tax payers for the others has gotten way out of hand!
