An 18 yearold NYC girl wants to leave her family..HELPP?

I made it a point to say I was from NYC, bcuz im use to high cost of living, where I live rent is $3,000 a month for a 2 bedroom apt ( isnt that crazy)?
my aunt and I arent gettin along, ppl u kno how difficult it is to live with someone. I moved out b4 to antoher family member, but I guess you can say they think I overstayed my welcome. I am in college, so money is tight for me, and even when I DO get ajob, its usually customer service. I really feel likegetting a job, packing up, and gettin the hell outta NYC, bcuz there juss isnt anyone else heret o help me.
Im lookin around Craigslist, I notcied that places like Dc Maryland and such, rent is only like 500 dollas a month. How can I go about leaving my hell house now and starting a new life?? serious answers only please..I dont wanna live in the countryside, for God's Sake im a city girl, but I wanna go somewhere where I can easily find a job and jus get a new life. Thing are BeYOND working it out with my family

things like how much should I save up, things of that nature, should I job hunt, then move? or move, then job hunt?

Job hunt first you can do all that on line....there are a lot of big city out there NY is not the only one...Things are always good in Houston Texas its a big place and lots of job...ck classifieds to see what rent is going.......I moved here from Columbus Ohio in 1983 and wish I had done it 10 years earlier...Columbus is growing like crazy good luck
