I need this answered fast? |
Customers of a phone company can choose between two service plans for long distance calls. The first plan has a $29 one-time activation fee and charges 29 cents a minute. The second plan has no activation fee and charges 14 cents a minute. After how many minutes of long distance calls will the costs of the two plans be equal? You've got the question worded incorrectly, I think. Could it possibly be $29 activation and .14 a minute or no activation and .29 a minute? If so, the correct answer is 260 minutes. I really don't belive that they can be equal because since one costs more per minute and it has a activation fee automatically makes it more money than the one without a activation fee and a lower cents per minute charge.
