Workmen question- please answer if u r a "home workman" (ie plumber, electrician, window fitter, etc.)

Ok, my ex (who was a window fitter) used to tell me that when he used to go work at women's homes (ie either single, or husband at work, etc) they would "try it on with him" if you know what i mean (& i dont mean rip him off with payment, um, well, maybe i do lol, ok, they either tried trading payment for offering *their* services, or paid & offered extra as well) Im REALLY sorry if this Q offends anyone!!

Anyway, if u are a workman, does this REALLY happen, if so, has it happened to u or someone u know? or was this just my ex's fantasy & he was trying to "toot his own horn" about how "hot" he was?

I think your ex was just winding you up maybe blowing his own horn which is far better than some bint blowing his!. I work in the building trade and most of the attached blokes are rougher than a badgers ars'e but absolutely devoted to their missus'. It does happen as a rarity from time to time being offered services for services but i promise you even if i was single and i was offered it i would turn it down. I get single women (single by defination as in they arent married to their live in partner) trying to chat me up when i'm on lunch from the site, nah i dont wear any of them. Put it this way can you honestly envisage a group of blokes doing group repair taking turns for sloppy seconds, i cant even think of it and i've been in the building game for 20 years since i left school.

My friend who is a Taxi driver often picks women up on a Saturday night from clubs and bars etc.
He is sometimes offered "alternative" payment instead of a fare which (depending on the attractivness of the girl(s)) he usually accepts.

I knew someone who was going out with a brickie once and he had had his share of 'extras' when he was working for the council when they were doing re-fits in council houses.

So as for 'services' in payment for 'extras', being council tenants they were getting the real building services for free, so perhaps these women were just horny!

Apparently the lads used to take it in turns to cover for each other whilst they were 'on the job' if you know what I mean!
