What true Christ believing only churches have Saturday services?

We are not worshipping correctly on Sundays. This is the first day of the week not the last. Im not looking for a long drawn out discussion about Sat. or Sun. worship. Im just looking for an answer to a Christ believing church with Sun. worship. I have found only one. Many cults do but thats not what Im looking for. God Bless and Peace out...............

No cults please only Christ believing churches. Ive seen religions mentioned that have mixtures of pagen worship and many man made traditions not once ever mentioned in the Bible. God Bless and Peace out...........

Some Messianic congregations have Saturday services. Try looking one up in your area.

Messianics worship on Saturday. 7th Day Adventist, as well. A few non-denominationals here and there will offer a Saturday service, just as Catholics will.

The apostles gathered on the first of the week to pray and encourage each other -- probably a time SEPARATE of temple worship. The Christian church used that as a pattern for changing the Sabbath to Sunday. Personally, I don't think it matters just as long as God is honored on that day.

If you were stranded on a deserted island and came to days or hours later and had NO IDEA what day it was, do you think that God would care WHAT DAY you worshiped Him on as long as you set aside one day of the week to rest and honor Him? The point is a relationship with God.

Some people work on Saturdays and Sundays due to their choice of profession (retail, medical, emergency personnel). Do you think God frowns on them for working on the Sabbath? I think if they chose a day of remembrance and rest, God is pleased. Remember the Sabbath was made for man. (Mark 2:27) God knew WE needed rest.

As a Catholic I can fulfil my Sunday obligation by participating on Saturday, after 5:00 PM, so it's really no big deal.

Acts 20:7 - this text shows the apostolic tradition of gathering together to celebrate the Eucharist on Sunday, the "first day of the week." Luke documents the principle worship was on Sunday because this was one of the departures from the Jewish form of worship.

Heb. 4:8-9 - regarding the day of rest, if Joshua had given rest, God would not later speak of "another day," which is Sunday, the new Sabbath. Sunday is the first day of the week and the first day of the new creation brought about by our Lord's resurrection, which was on Sunday.

Jesus pointed out to the Samaritan woman that one no longer had to worship in Jerusalem; that people were to now worship in spirit and in truth. If the location is unimportant now, why do you insist the day is now important?

And let's say you live in America, and you traveled to America from Israel going east, paying attention to sunsets to determine the sabbath. Guess what... your sabbath would be Friday, and not Saturday.

We live on a round earth; not a flat one.

And your understanding of Mt. 5:17-19 is flawed. Your other citation is the wrong reference. You probably meant I John 3:4 and not 2:4, which you also do not understand, seeing as the translation is also an interpretation that is in error, and not repeated in any other English translation.

Many people say that Paul did away with that law...but I find it hard to believe that Jesus could not have done it himself, knowing that it would have been this big an issue. Saturday was change to Sunday by Constantin the Great for political not Religious reasons.

if the first of the week is holy, whole week holy(grace)
if only the last day is holy, the week is leavened(law)

Paul did away with that, you sound like the pharisees who only worried about following the law and not following Grace. Paul said whatever day you give to the Lord, give it to him. The day doesn't matter anymore, it's that you have a day.

Seventh Day Adventists still hold to Saturday as THE holy day.

Most churches have saturday worship and sunday worship though, especially Catholic churches. In fact, they have services 7 days/week.

ps: ALL days are holy, per Scripture.

Perhaps you've failed to notice ... but the Catholic Church worships on both Saturday and Sunday ... as well as Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

guess what we are under grace....legalism stinks....did that for 20 yrs and it didnt make me a better Christian...

there are 7th day baptists but why do that when Christians have had their own day for 2000 YEARS???
we dont even know what calendar was used when God made Adam so believe me it doesnt matter...
