Selective Services?

Omg what is it? im so sorry i really dont know wtf it is...its the second time i receive one of this saying i need to reply or i can go to jail or get a fine of thousandths of dollars...but its the second once i get and they said i have ten days to reply but idk what it is so i didnt and its been more than 10 days! omg im scared what should i do?? what can happen if dont ever answer?

btw im 19 now nothing has happened

Another rite of passage for young men - registering for the selective service.

This is mandatory for all men after their 18th birthday. This is not the draft. If you do not register, you could be prosecuted and fined up to $250,000 and/or be put in jail for up to five years. Registration is also a requirement to qualify for Federal student aid, job training benefits, and most Federal employment.

Well, you are required to register with the selective service (draft) upon reaching your eighteenth birthday. I suggest you register.

If you don't, they probably won't notice unless you apply for any loans, or a government job, or really any job with a background check.

Just fill out the form, and mail it.

Just bring the form to the Post Office. They'll help you fill it out.

It's the draft. You have to register.I don't know where you are but here the draft is long gone.
