Questions on website building--any answers appreciated?

I am about to set up a website--I bought a domain name and want to get started. I have looked at go daddy, but I don't know much about website design (though I am pretty sure I can do it on that site myself and cannot afford too much. My main three questions are:
1. If I want to have sections of my website, do I need more than one "page"--ex. on Go Daddy's website builder different packages come with different number of pages

2. If I build my site and then wanted to hire someone to customize it, is this possible (if I want to change format or design?)

3. Do I need to buy hosting and building? More specifically, is go daddy a waste of money--can I find these services elsewhere?

Bluehost is the way to go mate. They've been voted best for aaaaggesss. Awesome support, and it's cheap as heck.

1. I think you should learn HTML mate, it's super duper easy to learn and ya can make web pages in no time.

2. Yep, this happens quite often. Any decent web designer should be able to just pick up wherever you left off.

3. You do need to buy hosting if you want a domain such as:
http://www.hairybananas.com/. However, for no money at all, some sites offer you *subdomains* of their site. E.g. 110mb.com would allow you to have:

http://www.hairyabananas.110mb.com/
- Note the 110mb in it.

Hope this helps mate =]

In my opinion it is a really bad idea to buy a domain before you have anything planned out. If you want to create the website by yourself you will need experience in coding (HTML,CSS,etc.). I am not familiar with Go Daddy but I know that in order to create a new page on your website you need to have a new code on a different page. You can always change the design or format but you will need to have experience in coding as stated before. It would be wise to buy your page building services if you are going to use it for business or whatever, but not until you have things planned out. I know freewebs.com offers this service for free, but of course with many limitations. If you plan on making a large website you should buy page hosting.
