Is it legal for one person to work as a prostitute from their home?

I know that in the UK it is widely regarded that prostitution is illegal but I know that that is not strictly the case. I read somewhere that it is only illegal to "solicit" your services and that the act of prostitution is not illegal. I know it is illegal to own a brothel or encourage others to become a prostitute but I was wandering,I'm 18 and would like to work as a prostitute. I would not work from my rented accommodation,I would travel to the clients house, I would practice safe sex at all times and would not advertise my services. Would this be legal? Serious answers only please.

Yes you would be an Escort,you could start your own agency and have girls working for you quite legally.They pay you a booking fee and do their own deals with clients and charge what they want

Im not sure. I think all prostitution is illegal. However if you are going to clients houses, and working for payment - i think it is a private deal, and youd probably build up your private clientele - then what goes on behind closed doors......

I dont think its a good idea personally, Im not going to say its imorral as you have your right to choose what you do with your life and im not here to be judgemental, just to answer your question.

However your health/life could be at risk. So be very careful and at least let one person know where you will be at all times.

IDK i think it could work... charge mileage to and fro.....Wear and tear???? geez the possibilities are endless, and your only eighteen?? wow yo'll be a millionaire by nineteen, ad dead by twenty.... Smoth career move there.....
