Do you Think this is an Accurate Statement that I just copied and pasted from another Y!A Answer??

A vote for McCain is a vote for the same because he has the same intentions that Bush has. He doesn't think the way most of us do. He is a son of an oil heiress. He has never had to work for anything in his life.

and Dont you think this is working for something

and I cant find anything about his mother having anything todo with oil his father and grandfather where Admirals in the Navy but nothing on the mom.
Can you??

i don't know about the validity of eveything, but what is important now, is issues..his voting record bears out that he doesn't what he thinks is best , i don't always agree with him, but it does prove that he is the only one who has a 'cross-over' voting record and will at least consider the 'other' view point...per their voting records in the senate, the other two are almost identical in their voting straight party lines. in other word, the 'others' could never have a good idea.

while mcCain is not my first choice for Republican party nominee, he does at least prove the is willing to think of the big picture...

there are other postives about him. like he is willing to listen to the majority, such as illegal immigration and can accept it and stand with them. some want to use that against and label it 'flip-flopping'. i call it listening to the will of the majority, rather than kowtow to the minority just because they scream the loudest. you could say that they other two candidates remain fixed and unmoveable. i do not consider that an assest.

The only thing that's not accurate is that he's the son of a oil heiress. His wife Cindy is that daughter of a multi-million dollar liquor company.

The only reason McCain got ahead in the Military is because of his father and grandfather who were decorated military men. They are both well known among military officials.

He's done more in his lifetime than Hillary or Obama will ever do.

Up Date:

Amber, if you actually believe your own comment about McCain doing so well because of his father and grandfather, then I should of came out of the Navy as Captain or Rear Admiral because of my father.

He seems to be the only one running for office that has experience in all fields of what it may take to lead this country. Its a shame he is so old, that's the one thing that is truly holding him back in this race.

Same thing as trying to say Obama grew up poor in a single parent home; I wish I knew where people get this stuff!!! Thank you for putting Senator McCain's resume there. It just goes to prove he has definately worked hard in his life.

I think anyone who slanders a war hero on Memorial Day should spend that day in jail.

Nope. And thanks for posting his achievements correctly. Libs and Dems would never do that.

He's never had a job in the private sector. He's been on the government dole his whole life.

Wow that's a long list of accomplishments over DECADES of service. How old is this guy?

Just goes to show ya...don't believe everything you read.

If I spent time running around trying to disprove everything I read
here in Y!A, I'd go bonkers. Especially when it's from someone
whose only agenda is trying to disparage and slander a candidate
who happens to be from "the other party".

And, since you posted his extensive resume with innocuous
intent, in this case, I tend to believe all of it is true.

He is married to an oil heiress. And I think his time as a POW is more important than working at McDonald's. He is a fine American. I don't usually have anything nice to say about a Republican, but this one is OK. And if Hillary is not the Democratic candidate I will vote for McCain in November. I am not alone... we are everywhere!!

Possibly maternally but doubtful?

Roberta Wright McCain mother of Arizona Senator and presidential candidate John S. McCain III.

Her parents were married in Cleburne, Johnson County, Texas, on June 18, 1901. Her father was Archibald Wright, a Los Angeles oil wildcatter, born October 23, 1875, near Kossuth, Alcorn County, Mississippi

A wildcatter is a person who drills oil wells in areas that are not in advance known to be oil fields

Cindy Hensley McCain is heiress and chair to a Budweiser Oil wholesaler?

If he was ever connected to oil it would of been well known by now.

SO it is just some anonymous person making something up to back up a point he feels he cant back with the truth.

With that said, though I respect his military service, I don't think having a military background is all that valuable to becoming president. Of the traits I don't like in politicians military background is second only to federal prosecutor.

McCain is the best candidate in my opinion. I think there wont even be a new president. I am a constitutional lawyer and in one case during the Vietnam war I got someone out of the draft because there wasn't a declaration of war. In the case of a national emergency this one being the war the president becomes a dictator you can thank JFK for that he signed the bill into law.

I think they meant the "husband" of an oil heiress. And, he has had to work.

Although not his fault, it was his plane that exploded on the USS Forestall. My husband was on the aircraft carrier at the time. (I receive several thumbs down when I mention this... not McCain's fault...just happened.)

And look at what he has turned all this hard work into... a method of getting into the White House so he can continue all of Bushes evil policies!
