Will the SFA be proactive in their reaction to last night, or will it be the lip service you expect?

I have answered many of the questions posed on last night's behaviour by a MINORITY of Rangers fans.

These few have ruined whatever good image both Scottish club and Tartan Army fans have built.

Are the SFA going to loll back in the Parker Knolls or are they going to stand up, be counted and act AGAINST Rangers Football Club for a small percentage potentially ruining it all for Scottish clubs in Europe.

Being neither a Rangers nor Celtic fan I would hope the SFA would give those charged with any sort of public order offences lifetime bans from supporting their club ever again.

@ CatBlackIndia and those who think like you - I would sincerely hope that most semi-intelligent adults (as I presume you are) would NOT be taken in by an alarmist & scaremongering English press.

Can we just stick to the FACTS for a sec...
120,000 (so called) football fans travel to Manchester to support Rangers.
There are 42 arrests - 3 for ticket touting, 6 for a serious incident inside the stadium.

So, are you telling the world that the Greater Manchester Police (regarded as one of the finest in the UK, alledgedly) could only nick THIRTY-THREE people for the disgraceful scenes last night, despite the fact about 2 dozen perpetrators* being caught on CCTV?

(*I mean the ones ACTUALLY assaulting officers, running alongside offenders does not, last time I looked, constitute a crime)

Now, I'm not for ONE SECOND condoning the actions of those involved.
But please have the sense you were born with to realise (from various news sources) that the only footage shown was from the only major incident - just because it happened at one site does not mean it happened everywhere across the city as various newspapers try to illustrate without actually saying so.

Have read your other posts on the subject - you either have a chip on your shoulder about football fans in general, or are in dire need of being educated about Scots. If you have MSN, I'd be only to willing to enlighten you further...

One final point - in the last 20 years (choosing between Scottish & English football fans) who has rioted more severely & more frequently. And who has won more "Good Behaviour" commendations at European & Worldwide levels?

You're obviously connected to the net - go educate thyself!
Ignorance is no excuse for your opinions.

i've not really seen what happened after the match last night, but i heard there was a problem with the big screen which provoked a bit of a stushie. you've got to admit, a bit of bother was almost inevitable, especially with rangers losing, and all it needed was a flashpoint.

anyway, as to the SFA, i hate to be pedantic Charles, but surely you can only be REactive in your reaction.

As if the performance wasnt bad enough, now we have this to contend with.
A minority of so called fans have as you say ruined the reputation of scottish football. I have followed Rangers through 9 countries this season and there has been not 1 bit of trouble, having the final so close to home just allowed the idiots to attend, and I bet not one of them have ever set foot inside Ibrox.
Gutted big time
