On my way to E.R ..but should I be? Im 10w5d preg? |
K.. I want reasonable answers.. not paranoid people who just say to go to the e.r to be on the safe side.. I want experienced moms please :) k - thanks.. Alright I am currently waiting for my husband to get home so he can take me to the E.R - Earlier today I had a colposcopy because of an abnormal pap - my doc says if I kept bleeding that I needed to call..which I did, & he told me to put in a tampon & lay down, which I did - but as soon as I took it out the blood clot came with it and I started to bleed again..(im known to keep bleeding once I bleed) Anyway, I called my doc's answering service who directed me to the oncall doctor who called me back and told me I needed to just go to the E.R - I asked him if I could have MY doctor call me back.but he said no, if you go to the E.R they can call him. OK, the only thing is, I think the bleeding is letting up a bit now.what can they even do for me at the e.r?Why would I need to go? Could there be complications with my cervix dialating? K - the clot was because of the bleeding I had from the Biospy on my cervix - they took a peice out to test it for displaysia.. the bleeding is normal.. just not LOTS of bleeding for hours.. Yes, there could be complications- and the fact that you saw a clot worries me-- I'm not saying this just to be on the safe side-- you need to proceed to the ER to ensure everything is ok and watch the amount of blood you are loosing. Go, Go, GO to the ER! I'm not paranoid but I am going to tell you that you still need to go the ER. I had bleeding at 11 weeks and went in myself. They were able to monitor me, they took some blood tests, and performed an ultrasound to check on the baby and his heart beat. Unfortunately if something is seriously wrong, such as a miscarriage, there will not be much they can do but if the on call doctor advised you to go then you need to do so. Truth be told if your having a miscarriage theres not much that the ER can do for you hun, your too early to try and save the pregnancy...I'm sorry to say, I will keep some very positive thoughts as well as you should too. But I would STILL go to the ER and request an ultrasound if they don't. i had that done when i was around 16 weeks ... |
