What is the difference between a normal cell phone and a refurb? |
im looking at the samsung a737 1: price When you buy a a new product, it's been made from completely unused materials that have just been produced and are brand-new. However, when buying a refurbished product, it means that someone has used it before, but they sent it back to the factory to get some parts that were broken or missing replaced on the product. It's usually minor stuff (Screen, keys, maybe a button or two) but even if it was a very minor repair, it could decrease the integrity of the original product. Also, warranties on refurbished products are almost ALWAYS a lot shorter then brand-new ones. Refub just means it has been refurbished. So it might have been faulty or missing parts and been fixed to work again and sold at a lower price than the brand new factory models. Refurbished means used. |
