What is this service called?

when u call a bank and a machine answers and u do ur banking stuff by pressing numbers the voice over the phone gives u?

its called a automated voice service, its basically the same system dr stephen hawkins use's, your computer has it as well.
the new system in a lot of dr's surgerys have the same system, its main name is via voice pro, basically as numbers or letters are pressed, a signal is sent to a main computer and the comp changes the signal to letters, then again to words.
