What good is this service if you get treated so badly?

I want to know why is it when you ask a question to get answers to, you get crapped on? I was reading through some peoples questions and I was in shock at some of the answers. I thought this "yahoo answers" was here so people can get answers to everyday questions. I guess the way I see it is that people get on here to put in their two sense just to rack up points. If anyone agrees with me...thanks and let me know so! If not then oh well...but I am sure a lot of you will agree with what I have said

This site mirrors real life. There are "trolls" everywhere.

i know what you mean.....and if you ask something that "violates" the "Community Guidelines"...you have your question removed, and recieve viloation notices.....I have had 4 questions removed, and recived a violation email in the last few days. Granted sometimes the questions posted are for fun....and others more serious and should be treated as such....the TROLLS don't make Answers fun or useful. Little grubby buttholes.

I had just asked a very similar question, i.e. a rude/snide answer to one of the my questions. But I got a LOT of good and positive feedback and was told to just ignore the louts and social boors. This is a very useful site, so you just have to take the good with the bad.

Just report them. Being a jerk violates community guidelines.
