If i have a laptop w/wireless router in my home,what do i need to use my laptop at a campground site if able?

i do know that the main office at this sight has a laptop so it is possible to get computer service,but i'm not sure if theirs is a wireless service or connected to a modem,does this matter? i am not to familiar with technology as you can tell,so the simpler the answer the better.

well just because he has internet acsess dosn't mean he has wifi.he could just be connected to cable or something.but if he does have wifi it might have secruity.if it does he would have to give you the code. but if he doesn't have security go to your toolbar on the lower right hand corner,click on the thing that looks like 2 computers and search for a network to connect to.

Your laptop needs to be WiFi (wireless for Internet) and the campground needs to offer a WiFi connection. This may be an added charge to the regualr campsite fee in some cases, but usually if a campground offers WiFi, it is included in the campsite price.

Check with the campground to see if they offer wireless Internet to their customers. Bring your laptop and then tune it to the campground's network. If you need assistance, they can help you tune in at the main office.

Best way to do this is to ask the campground administrator iif they have wireless internet access available.

Then ask if you may use the service, then they'll give you a password so that you can connect to the service.

There is no way for us to determine if the camp grounds have internet access, so just ask.

Call the campground and ask if they have wifi. If they do it may be a secured network which you need a passkey to access it.

If it is not a secure network, ask if you may use the wifi service. If you don't, this could be considered as "hijacking" and could get you into trouble.
