I have the DVDPE v2.3.0 program and the audio is not in sync. with the video; any ideas?

This program was recommended to me as a great dvd ripping program. I have adjusted the audio settings numerous times, and they are all out of sync. I have also tried different dvds and none have correct audio. Their customer service sucks and havn't answered any of my questions so if someone can help me out I would appreciated it. Thanks.
