ok, you definitely need to look up more stuff about Starbucks, talk about their marketing plan, mission statement things like that. Everyone knows Starbucks sells coffee, you want to make yourself stand out.

maybe when describing yourself you should say that you're a fast learner and have an even temper. You do well in stressful situations... stuff like that.

don't say you want to settle with a job.... just say that you have not found a job that was right for you.

expand on why customer service and food preparation are important for the job, and also what type of customer service it was.

when you worked in customer service, did you ever do something that made a customer really happy? if so, use that as your example.

starbucks gets tons of applications, you need to find some way to break away from the pack. What could you say that would make them chose you over the other applicant?

goodluck, i hope you get the job.

No one can answer that for you..........you worked in customer service.........name something out of the ordinary that you did to solve a problem or make a customer happy.

The answer to all of them is;

Look at them like you are under a Jedi Mind trick and say:
"There should always be a Starbucks across the street from a Starbucks."

Your answers need to be longer. Try putting about a paragraph after each question.

On the why haven't you been employed in a long time, your answer is lousy. You're applying for a job as a barista for goodness sake...are you saying that's what you've been holding out for?? Try saying you were a student, were taking care of an ailing family member or something.

On the customer service question...I can't help you with that one...and if you can't think of something you might want to keep waiting for "something right"...
