I'm trying to change the e-mail in my Groups profile to a new Gmail address.?

I'm changing service providers and dropping my Road Runner address. I now have a Gmail address, and I'm trying to set my Groups messages to go to that but so far all the answers that I can find are for Yahoo Mail accounts. How can I switch to Gmail without rebricking my entire profile?

you have to add it as an email for your groups, then select it

go to http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups, click on 'My Email Preferences' on the top r-hand side, then 'Add Email Address (top left).

When you've added and verified this, if you go back to 'My Groups' then click on the 'Edit my Groups' tab you can select that email address for your group contact

just a note - yahoo can be funny about gmail accounts (someone in my group got rejected because it didn't see that gmail and googlemail were the same thing...)

go to this link- http://groups.yahoo.com/myprefs click add email address on top left- follow steps and confirm address.

then go to this link http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups click edit my groups on the top left- locate group (if there's more than one) under the column Email Address click the arrow for the drop down box and select new address- click save changes
