What action is required against fraudulent websites? |
I made a purchase through a prostores website (an eBay company) called BoxsetDVD (http://www.discountdvdboxsets.net). Everything seemed okay and the website is PayPal verified. However, I never received my product, and after 1 month waiting, I had been writing emails to the website (both to the contact person and the customer service), but never got an answer. I asked for a refund, and still no response. So I filed a dispute claim using PayPal. They granted my claim but they did not refund my money because PayPal said that the seller does not have sufficient money in their account. I am really pissed off and trying to file a claim using my credit card now. But I think I also need to do something to warn people to stop them from buying from the site (the products they sell cost at least $100). I tried to contact the parent website, ProStores, but they do not have any contact information available. If anyone can help in stopping this fraudulent online store, I'd really appreciate that Probably my link does not work.
