Mac laptop or pc laptop?

I am planning to buy a laptop this summer for graphic design projects so should i buy mac or pc laptop? I know that mac is overpriced but they have good services and warranty right? but then again, thanks to gamers the performances of laptop or desktop has blur the line between mac and pc. also i can save more money with pc. well its really hard to choose. I want an expert answer on what is my best choices cuz i want a very good dependable laptop that can do the tasks.

Having used both, I found it easier and less expensive to go with the PC.

I never considered the computer's power as a determining factor - they are somewhat comparable. The user interface is the issue. In the past, when someone said graphic design, it meant a MAC was the best choice and probably still is. But the difference with a Windows computer and a MAC is slight now.

If you buy a MAC, you are held to a smaller base of compatible programs, whereas, Windows allows for the installation of other manufacturers' Windows compatible programs.

So I woulod pick a PC with a minimum of 3GB RAM and a Core2 Duo. If you multi-task alot, consider a Quad processor... If you want to be a gamer too, choose a Core2 Duo with the fastest bus you can get.

You can also dual boot Windows very easily on your Mac as well, so if you want to play games or run windows applications you can!

Gaming wise, you can run up to Battlefield 2 on the default model, on low of course. Apple is amazing, and $1,100 is NOT overpriced for what you get.
