Why dont many people allow E-mailing on the Yahoo service threw the Y- answers?

I looked therw some of my contacts pages and not many of them alow you to E-mail them threw this service. Why not?

But couldn't you block those people?

Till some days ago mine was open for emails until I began to get harrassed with insults and I got fed up of getting them. The only way was to close everything, I even had to remove my contacts at one point, too many trolls about and I became suspicious of everyone.

I didn't know you could throw yahoo answers. A little too intangible for me to do here.

you mean "through" and it's because they know how to dish it out but don't want personal interaction. it's easier for many to stay at arms length and they may be afraid someone will come to their doorstep and pop 'em in the nose (as if).
