Ihave this message on my audi a4 2002 1.8 t quattro 2002 model,service in 600 MI 36 days. i need answers.? well its telling u that it wants a service in 600 miles or 36 days whichever is sooner....it needs maintainance it wants to be pampered or it will die ...its saying fix me...help help give me clean oil..i need new belts....i may be german but i do need new parts now and again...IT NEEDS A SERVICE! it may be saying that its service must be done in 600 miles and within 36 days Audi service is scheduled one year or every 10,000 miles. Your car is telling you that is how much time you have left until you need to bring it in for normal maintenance. not quite that serious. the A4 has an on board computer which gives you and more importantly your machanic a good insight into your car and its preformance. you are given a reccomended time between service and what you are seeing is a countdown timer to the service, there is nothing wrong with your car when this goes off, when you have the service done, the countdown will begin again for the next service. so there is no need to worry, get your A4 serviced whenever you can... hope that helps |
