Mormons would you please help me out..i am interested in..?

attending one of your churches
i found the one nearest me,but im calling to get directions and service times but NOONE ANSWERS the phone
and they dont even have a message leaving atleast their service times or directions to them
(not a very welcoming church,im assuming)

what should i do?
also,if any of you mormons wouldnt mind answering a q for me through email i would really appreciate it..

yes=i shouldve mentioned that i did visit their site
and they dont give ANY # not even the one to the church,AND when i enterd my zip code they gave me a church that is VERY far away..and I found one closer via yellow pages

if you ever get in contact with a missionary or elder, ask to have a tour of the church building. It is actually quite a good experience because they explain everything before you even attend the service. Sorry about the phones. The bishop usually is at the church at night and is usually working by appointments so there is no real knowing when he'll be in. what city are you in, i can try and get some answers for you.

I apologies for this. The church is not used to accommodating individuals that seek out the church. Most of the residents attend church through the invitation of the missionaries or other members.

Service is only on sundays. up to 4 wards or groups meet in one building so on Sundays it can be quite crowded (except for this sunday) this sunday is general conference that starts at 10 and 1 mountain time. If you have cable or satelite, you can see it on tv at the byu channel or you can view it online at the lds.org website.

No one is there most of the time. You can go to Lds.org
and look for the meetinghouse times and when they have church.

You might try calling Wednesday or thursday night around 7:30 or so because that's when people will be at the meetinghouse for Ward Mutual meetings...that's for Teenagers.

It might be even better if you visited the place when it's populated and then you can get more information.

Unless you call on Sunday, you'd be lucky to catch anyone at the church. They only hold services on Sunday.

The meetinghouse locator on the church website is unfortunately not very good. I enter my own address and the three church buildings closest to me don't even show up.

The best thing to do is use the Yellow Pages and mapquest the addresses to find the closest one. As far as meeting times...you may have to just show up on Sunday. Common meeting times are 9am and 11am.
