I don't know how to word this occupation description...?

Sales Associate at Anthropologie which is an upscale clothing store. Trained new employees. Worked on cash register, answered the phones and dealt with customer service problems....anyone have a good way to word all of this for a resume?!

Focus on accomplishments, not just duties. No one is going to care that it is an upscale store.

You can write this:

Sales Associate Anthropologie, Your Town USA

- Enthusiastically trained 10 new hires on the various functions and operations of the store.
- Quickly resolved customer questions and complaints resulting in higher satisfaction and customer retention.
- Answered a multi-line phone system during peak hours while maintaining professionalism and courtesy.

Instead of trying to describe the work, tell about specific situations that you, yourself, ar particularly proud of (e.g., was key new-employee trainer during a period of exceptionally large employee turnover - 12 new sales clerks in just four months; covered for several different positions - from product ordering to cash register coverage) during recent flu near-epidemic; worked many hours of overtime to help get past the crisis; developed more effective customer-servcie procedures now standard for the Store - anything special that shows how you went above-and-beyond or shows your special value/commitment to the organization.
