I am intrigued how you could globalise water. In Australia it is not even a national property as, being the driest continent on earth, much of it is desert without any vegetation and absolutely no water. There would be a few nomad aborigines passing through it,on their way to to greener pastures for the seasonal hunting.

The expence of piping or trucking water to these barren parts would be prohibitive and waste as we do not have a large enough population to inhabit the interior. Besides, the well watered eastern states experience droughts quite frequently as well.

How would water rich countries get water to Australia or Africa? Ship it over? There would be absolutely no question that Australia could provide water for another country. Remember, we are the driest continent on earth?

Desalination is a possibility as a water supply. However, there would be no need to glogabise it, as ocean water surrounds every continent and they can help thenmselves to it.

I am at a complete loss to understand the concept. What have I missed?
