Why cant i answer questions?

everytime i try to answer a question,when i hit sumit i get this. whats going on with yahoo answers?

nope no links just trying to answer a question... yeah this morning they were down for 2 hrs

For two (2) whole hours this morning, Yahoo would not let me answer any questions and kept giving me a "Sorry, we're taking a breather" message.

However, I usually don't get the Error 999 message UNLESS I am trying to post a link to another website. For example, I cannot post the words "youtube" with the dot and "com" afterwards or I get that message.

Are you trying to post about a website? If so, you might break it into separate words like I did to get it to post.

If that doesn't work, it's like the dumb "taking a breather" glitch that got me this morning. It seems gone now but keep your fingers crossed for me. I don't know if it's going to let me post this answer or not...

is it me or is Yahoo going through some kind of sickness? i think maybe someone is tampering with the yahoo database
