Typical interveiw questions?

I have a job interview tomorrow with a clothing store that I'm really hoping to get. I've always been confident in interviews in the past, and they've always gone well, however, they never seem to pan out. There are a few questions that always seem to get me, however.

1. What is your weakness
-How do you really answer this question? I'm open to BS this one if someone wants to give me a good answer.

2. Name one time that you've received excellent customer service
-Again, no examples come to mind, and I suck and making stories up on the spot, so examples?

Ok, here we go.....

1. Be honest. They really want to know a weakness you have. Don't B.S. and candy coat an answer to tell them what you think they want to hear. When I interviewed for my current job, I was asked the same question. I told them I'm impatient and it actually is a quality they were looking for. I'm a Manufacturing Supervisor. Think about your traits and work ethic, and be honest with yourself and them.

2. This should be an easy one. It doesn't have to be a long drawn out story with big words to try to impress them. Did you ever have a waiter or waitress at a restaurant that excelled above anyone else as far as service? Have you ever been some place where employees went out of their way to make you feel at home? Tell them about those experiences. (Just a couple of examples) Put yourself in the customer's shoes and answer that way. You will be dealing in customer service and they want to know if you can recognize how to make customers happy......treat the customers the way you would want to be treated.

The weakness question is really a tricky one:
1. Identify a weakness : for eg: I am a little reserved/ I tend to overlook minor details. A weakness that will not affect your current job profile. Also attempt to identify ways that you have been trying to overcome your weakness...

2. Very difficult one..: here's an example: I know of a guy who sits at the railway platform and sells books.. now as soon as a customer walks in.. by the looks and general choice that the customer makes in magazines, the guy is able to suggest books for the customer... what is also important that he has a fair idea on books that he keeps, so that his recommendations go good...customers keep coming back to him....

I use to interview people and one of my main questions was.

Name three positive qualities about yourself.
then I would ask
Name three negative qualities about yourself.

The key is for people to make their negative qualities into a positive.
