Why does yahoo use bots to ask questions?

i have had a a fairly inactive account for the last year. Yet, in my inbox i have received emails to questions that I know I have never asked, nor would ever ask. I got repsonses saying I should have been logged on to get my 3 points for picking a best answer. I sell internet for a living, and always reccomend yahoo as the best free service, but using an inactive account to ask made up questions, so that people answer them, who are not responding to real person is kind of cheesy. sorry yahoo, but I feel violated.

doubt that it wa sanyone else especially considering what would be the motive? if it was what kind of security does yahoo have? don thackers steal bank info and not email accts to mail questions like, " if you were a tree, what kind of tree would you be?" to yahoo q&a?
whereas, yahoo has a motive with that being to keep the dialogue going, as well as claim active members to the shareholders.

This should not be happening. If you are certain you didn't ask the questions you may want to email the Yahoo! Answers Team and ask them why this has happened.

I honestly don't believe anyone at Yahoo! would do that. Is it possible that you never signed out of your account when you stopped using it? Did anyone else ever know your sign-in name and password? Is it possible that you actually did ask the questions, but so long ago you forgot about them? Well, sorry you feel violated, but I think, in this case, you're looking in the wrong direction. :)
