Interest in our military...Will the interest last???

With all the sudden interest in our military I have some questions that require honest answers..Integrity check..

Did you support our troops during peace times? Were you as patriotic before 9-11 or did this event make you purchase a yellow ribbon? Did you thank a US service member prior to 9-11?

Are you aware that troops need care packages and letters during times of peace? Are you aware that our military deploys regardless of whether we are at war or not?

Are you aware that thousands of active duty men and woman die while serving in our military during peace time?

After the middle east conflict is over will America go back to the way it was in 1980, or 1995..Not much interest in our military.??

The mob is fickle and attention is easily swayed.

well one, a yellow ribbon should be used for people left behind at home waiting for a soldier
and two my husband joined in january and that's whats made me more patriotic. and its actually just me supporting him. i have always supported our troops but since my husbands joined it's made me realize how much our troops really need support. i dont think people will truely realize how much our men and women need support until they have a loved one in the service.

i wouldnt say i wasnt patriotic. I mean I was in the 6th grade when it happened, I was still being kid. I didnt realize what patriotism meant until then when we all united after that. When I saw 9\11 I realized how much of a strong nation we that is when I began to be a true patriot.

unfourtanly i must say no before setember 11 i was very un partiotic but now i am becuase i have come to see that when some one is patritoc they can respect themselves better and after having a cousin in JROTC and a great uncle get shot in Iraq i joined NJROTC to show that i wanted to was patritoc
