Enlistment bonuses for guard/reserves? |
I have a friend of mine who is really interested in joining the military. i am joining the Air Force reserves and know I won't be getting an enlistment bonus (and i don't mind one bit). He was asking if there is any enlistment bonuses for any other branch of service for reserves or guards. He wants to finish school and work so he don't want to join full time. I don't know anything about bonuses so i couldn't really answer his question. What reserves/guards give bonuses? (if any) Funny thing is blaster, I don't recall asking you what you thought of me joining the Air Force. Sorry you just upset you couldn't have a top quality life in the Army, as opposed to your Air Force friends :o)~ Army gives out ton's of bonuses. Tell him to contact a recruiter for the latest on each MOS and its respectful bonus. Good luck! Your friend should ask the various branch's recruiters, as bonuses constantly change and you could get bad/old information here on Y!A. the army national guard and army reserve both offer signing bonuses up to 20,000 plus school money and all of those other things the amount of the bonus depends on the job the person picks and also to qualify for a bonus you have to score above a 50 on the asvab.. haha and im sure you dont mind you are gonna be living the easy life eating fatcakes in the chairforce |
