Survive on only $7000???

I am working on a sociology project for a college course. For the project I have an income of about $7000 and I have to budget, who can I contact to get information on services? My "family" has one 2 year old and the wife is not employed. Answers??? How would you budget? I need resources on welfare!!

My wife is a food stamp case worker. If you email your budget to me I can give it to her and tell you how much your "family" would be able to get in food stamps.

Make sure it includes your monthly living expenses (rent, utility bills, etc) as well as income.
