Command Sponsored in Korea? |
Hey I have orders to korea. Including in the orders is command sponsorship for my family. My wife is prior service, so she understands how things work and we are both very openminded and ok with living in different places. I am just wanting to know of any of your experiences in korea (ONLY) if you also had, or have a command sponsorship tour and have your family with you. Pro's and Con's to everything. What I can expect when I get there, any helpful hints, or suggestions that have helped you in your experience. Do's and Don'ts ect. You can get as indepth with answering as you'd like, good or bad I'd like to hear it all. thank you. Just know that some army personal will tell you it sucks and try to leave when you can. Take it from a Marine that lived 2 years there. It is what you make it. At one point I took 30 days leave and just went around the country. If you are able to learn a little Korean and eat there food at there restaurants then you will have a very good time there. Don't just stay around base make sure to get out and see what they have to offer. |
