Why are words/phrases that are common in a PG-13 movie edited by Yahoo!Answers? |
From: http://answers.yahoo.com/info/community_... It's all about liability. Their software programs automatically replace certain words with *****. It's far from perfect as a creative person can still cuss their heads off without the words being censored. There's really no way for Yahoo to prevent kids younger than 13 using Y!A. Because this isn't a movie. We go by Yahoo! Answer's rules, not the movie rating system. Just because we have a minimum age of 13 on here, it has nothing to do with the movie rating system. |
